Department of Standarization performs the following services:

• manages the Secretary's Office of Technical Committee No 222 for Petroleum Products and Operating Fluids.
• manages the Secretary's Office of Subcommittee for Liquid Fuels of No 222 Technical Committee
• development and publication of internal company standards
• keeping of internal company standards reference and registry
• keeping specifications collection and current registry

The most important assignments carried out by the Department as a part of the Technical Committee No 222 for Petroleum Products and Operating Fluids and the Subcommittee for Liquid Fuels is harmonization of Polish Standards (PN) related to requirements and methods of testing of motor fuels (gasoline, diesel oil, LPG) with European Standards (EN) and relevant International Standards (ISO).

The Department offers development of internal company standards in the scope of the Institute fields of activity.
